Body weight as rats approach and during puberty (n = 10 in antileptin group A, and n = 11 in control group B). Data are expressed as mean ± SEM. Arrows indicate the mean day of VO in each group (antileptin group A = 34 ± 1 days versus 30.2 ± 0.7 days in the control group B (P < .01). Median VO data are given in the results. No difference in body weight (P > .05) was observed between the two groups.
